Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star is a 2009 port of Mega Man Battle Network that added the ability to control Mega Man Star Force, as well as a side scenario involving him, but it was never released outside of Japan. Fans have been hard at work translating the game, and the translation project has finally been completed.

In the game, the players are now allowed to explore and go to various different towns and, they are also free to explore the newly introduced 'Wave World' where the action also takes place.SUP /SUP Star Force deviates greatly from the standard Mega Man fare because it draws almost exclusively on elements from Battle Network, making very few references or allusions to the other Mega Man series. RockMan.exe Operate Shooting Star(MegaMan Battle Network: Operate Star Force) was a Japanese-only Nintendo DS game released in 2009, with a translation patch coming out 9 years later. Megaman Battle Network 6 Tips

The game is now titled Mega Man Battle Network: Operate Star Force, and is mostly based on the English script for the first Mega Man Battle Network . However, many mistranslations and typos have been fixed, as well as other minor localization changes.

The one thing that wasn’t translated was the Download Play client for the ‘Star Colo’ feature, as the Nintendo DS/3DS will not run modified Download Play clients. However, the rest of the game is fully in English.
