I have owned, ridden, and loved this frameset for a few years. It is a 2010 model. Of all the road bicycles I've owned, I have enjoyed the ride qualities of this frame the most. The Giant Alliance series of bikes use a combination of aluminum and carbon fiber. The lower half of the frame is aluminum, and the upper half is carbon fiber. You get the stiffness of aluminum, with the vibration dampening and weight savings of carbon. The lower half of the down tube, lower half of the seat tube, bottom bracket, and chain stays are aluminum; seat stays, top tube, fork, and upper halves of the down tube and seat tube are carbon fiber.
Included: frame, fork, integrated headset, 100mm Race Face Cadence stem, seatpost clamp, and SRAM Rival 2x front derailleur, Q2 carbon fiber water bottle cage.

Overall everything is in great shape. There are some minor rub marks inside the fork and chain stays from tires rubbing (I ran Michelin ProRace 4 700x25, which are a little fatter and under heavy pedaling I suppose the wheels flex and tires rubbed the frame). Frame has no dents, bends, cracks, or other damage effecting functionality. I regularly inspect all of my bikes, and several times a year detail clean and apply a coat of automotive wax to protect the paint from sweat and weather.
